But first, a little background into the owners purpose… To start, my beautiful wife loves the sun! Like really really really loves it! Her happy place is sitting in a chair on a beach at the edge of the water line with her toes in the water and the sun warming her soul. My kids are part Greek, and my son has always been a Greek God aficionado. He may not openly admit it, but even as an adult he’s still a Percy Jackson fan. I get it though as I too enjoy the series! On my side of the family, I was around 16 when my Mom started her own business. Looking back, I can still remember how proud she was when the doors opened. Nine years later, I also remember the sad day when she closed the doors, and thinking I wish I could have helped. Back to our philosophy… As a seasoned service industry program manager, I wanted to start a service business that centered around helping other businesses grow via marketing and sales. Our name and philosophy came about when I looked at my purpose, my family, and it hit me like a bowling ball. The two Greek Gods, Apollo and Helios are often identified as the same being – or Apollo. Among other things Apollo was worshiped as the sun-god, and it was believed that he and his horse driven chariot guided the sun across the sky each day.
For our business, the name Apollo epitomizes both family and guidance.
